Welcome to Northeast Middle School. My name is Todd Johnson and I teach 8th grade math. I am part of the Teacher Resident Program where last year I worked under a mentor teacher and this year, I have my own classroom. I worked as a minister for 26 years before making the leap to being an Educator. I am originally from Jackson, MS and am a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in Psychology. I have a MACE from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I was married to Bethany for almost 22 years and lost her to cancer in May. We have two boys, Zach and Nathan, where Z will be a freshman at UTK and Nathan will be starting high school at Montgomery Central. I am so excited to be a part of the NEMS family and look forward to a great year! Go Eagles!!
