I am a married father of two (Asher, 13, and Elliot, 8) and the proud owner of one hilarious cat and a loyal boxer/heeler mix. I graduated Austin Peay State University in 2007 with a BS in English/Education, and I finished my Maters of School Library Science from University of Memphis in 2016. My educational philosophy focuses on a high-energy, collaborative environment resulting in engagement for all students. Outside the library, my interests include reading, playing guitar, running, weight training, and Titans football.
