I'm so excited to be a part of "The best school in Montgomery County" and teaching Home Economics to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Eagles. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and helping them to become productive citizens with basic home economics intertwined with 21st Century technology skills. In other words, "This isn't exactly like your mother's Home EC" 😊 nor will it be exactly what the students experienced in room 604 (or 607) last year. That’s one reason you’ll hear me refer to this class as “Home tECh”. I like to make learning relevant and fun by having students tie in real world situations with they’re learning. I have a son, Leigh, who is also an APSU graduate (like his mom--GO GOVS!). I enjoy singing in my church choir, going on mission trips, playing games, and meeting new people.
